Juan Martín Carballo is a lawyer, graduated from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the National University of Cordoba, where he works in the Natural Resources and Environmental Law Department as well as in the Constitutional Law Department. He has participated in plenty of national and international training events focused in themes such as Human Rights, Environment and Participation. He is author and co-author of papers and presentations in different academic forums in Argentina, Uruguay and the Untied States. Regarding his working experience, he has been engaged with civil society organizations, in research and directive functions in NGOs such as OAJNU, Geos Foundation and CEDHA. Besides, he has had some experience in the public sector as a legal advisor to the Environmental and Sustainable Development Secretary of Cordoba City. Juan is the coordinator of the Global Governance Programme, where he is responsible of the initiatives on International Finance Institutions, Access to information, Public Participation and the linkages between the International Human Rights Law and environmental protection.
