International Research Program

CEDHA's International Research Program (IRP) allows students around the world to develop research topics related to human rights and environmental protection.

Through participation in the program, students will have access to current research topics, professional feedback, and avenues to get their work published.

CEDHA does not have funds for this type of research. Interested parties should seek financing from alternative sources. CEDHA can assist interested students in scholarship application proceedures, in the form of recommendations letters for preselected projects.

Research Topics

Possible research topics will address jurisprudential, legislative, constitutional, educational or theoretical issues related to human rights and the environment.

Participation may be on a project to project basis, part-time during the academic year or full-time during winter/summer vacation.

Students may participate as individuals, law societies or through the National Association of Environmental Law Societies (NAELS) Joint Research Committee. In order to take the best advantage of the student’s limited time, CEDHA encourages students to think of combining academic projects and assignments with CEDHA research.
