Argentina's Legal Team Prepares for Oral Arguments Before ICJ against Celulose Plants

June 7th, 2006. The Hague. Today, the Argentine team of legal and environmental experts that is presently in the Hague to argue in favor of Preliminary Measures to stop the construction of two cellulose plants in Uruguay, made final changes and adjustments to their strategy and presentations, which will go before the international tribunal this Thursday. The persons charges with presenting arguments are Ruiz Cerrutti, Romina Picolotti, Philippe Sands, Cohen, y Alan Pele. The oral arguments will be 15 to 20 minutes in length. Following Thursday's presentations, the Argentine delegation will work with the greater legal and environmental experts team which are presently at the Hague to prepare Friday's replication to Uruguay's counter-arguments.
