Mining, Glaciers, and Sustainability in Latin America

Through this project CEDHA is working toward a greater and more effective protection of the region´s glaciers, a reduction of the impact of unsustainable mining, and the creation of more effective channels for access to justice for the affected communities by the Mining industry.
To achieve this objective CEDHA is developing activities in research, international lobbying, legal counselling for impacted communities, follow-up of legislative processes, and promotion of a greater corporate responsibility in the extraction industry.
