Partnership for Principle 10 - PP10

PP10 Methodology and Strategy

The PP10's action plan originates from the Rio Declaration of 1992 and attempts to incorporate international soft law into hard law at the national level through the collaboration of civil organizations and their respective governments.

The PP10 partnership is dedicated to the promotion transparency, inclusiveness, and accountability in the national decision-making process. Governmental, civil societies and international institutions collaborate to provide the public with venues for participation, access to information, and justice for environmental resolutions.

In order to remedy the existing gaps present in the public participation sector, the PP10 has developed a strategy to help implement change in a structured and constant manner.

Accountability

Participating organizations review the changes and progress accomplished by the governments of committed states.

Financial Resources

In order to ensure implementation of commitments made by states, members of the PP10 will secure bilateral support and connections with potential donors.

Educational Purpose

PP10 serves to educate the larger community regarding the importance of collaboration within the democratic state. The partnership seeks to assist in the facilitation of dispersal of information.

Expansion

In order to foster global interest and increased support, the PP10 organization will look to expand its member base.
